Junior Project Development Manager (m/f/d)

Role

Supporting the Project Lead and/or Senior Development Manager in the successful technical and economic execution of Primus projects in line with company objectives.

Responsibilities

The Junior Development Manager supports the project leadership of Primus projects and is responsible in particular for the following tasks:

  • Supporting the development and adjustment of zoning and usage concepts in collaboration with the Project Lead and relevant internal departments, taking into account corporate targets and project strategies
  • Assisting with project and marketing strategies as well as preparing business plans in collaboration with relevant internal departments (Investment and Finance)
  • Independently developing presentations and information materials for project stakeholders and investors — including project/leasing presentations and exposés
  • Supporting the Project Lead with feasibility analyses in collaboration with relevant internal departments (Investment and Finance), and preparing budget and liquidity plans (cash outflow planning)
  • Assisting with the preparation of architectural competitions and public participation procedures
  • Contributing to the development of a procurement strategy for planning and construction execution, as well as sourcing and selecting the right project partners
  • Supporting the Project Lead in managing and coordinating all relevant project stakeholders within zoning procedures and HOAI service phases 1–8, e.g. project controllers, architects, specialist engineers, appraisers, and contractors
  • Quality assurance across all areas of planning permission processes and all HOAI service phases
  • Supporting the development of tailored sustainability and certification strategies
  • Supporting the Project Lead in communication with authorities
  • Contributing to contract drafting in all respects, e.g. planning and construction contracts, urban development agreements, etc.
  • Helping to defend against claims and address any issues jeopardizing successful project delivery
  • Contributing to problem-solving during project execution through sound analysis
  • Assisting with schedule and cost controlling
  • Contributing to the preparation of internal and external reporting
  • Assisting with the preparation of financing concepts

  • Providing additional support on special projects as coordinated with management
  • Representing the company externally and actively networking with relevant business partners and contacts

  • Team player with an independent, self-driven working style
  • Discretion and reliability when handling confidential information

Qualifications

  • Completed commercial training, ideally in real estate or construction, or a comparable qualification in fields such as business administration or project management
  • Experience in the real estate industry, ideally at a general contractor/construction company or project developer, is expected
  • Confident use of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe
