Junior Accountant (m/f/d)

Role

Support of the finance department, with a particular focus on accounting activities

Responsibilities

The Junior Accountant supports the accounting department in recording and reviewing business transactions, reconciling accounts and preparing financial reports. In addition, the Junior Accountant assists with annual financial statements, invoice processing and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations of Primus Immobilien AG and its project companies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Responsibility for incoming invoices for the companies of the Primus Group
  • Maintenance and optimization of the approval workflow tool
  • Collaboration with internal administrative teams
  • Requesting missing invoices and invoice corrections
  • Maintenance of vendor master data
  • Processing of accounts payable dunning procedures
  • Support of the accounting team in daily operations
  • Document management
  • Accounts payable accounting
  • Assistance in due diligence processes
  • Building and maintaining relationships with service providers and other partners within the financial division of the corporate group

Personal Skills

  • Willingness to pursue continuous professional development in the fields of controlling and finance
  • Strong interest in real estate and financial topics, with the motivation to further specialize in these areas
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with various teams and stakeholders
  • High level of commitment and initiative to actively contribute to the optimization of processes and workflows
  • Flexibility and adaptability to quickly familiarize oneself with new projects and areas of responsibility
  • Strong motivation and performance orientation to make a positive contribution to the company’s success

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in business administration or finance, or a commercial apprenticeship in banking or finance, or a comparable qualification
  • Strong interest in invoice approval and accounting systems, including related processes and technologies
  • Affinity for finance and IT
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Confident handling of MS Office applications, especially Excel
  • Analytical and solution-oriented thinking combined with a hands-on mentality
  • Strong communication skills, negotiation skills and a confident professional demeanor
  • Flexibility and the ability to work both strategically and operationally
  • Business-fluent German and English skills
