Primus Starts Construction of 359 Rental Apartments in Berlin Kreuzberg

Primus Immobilien AG has begun realizing its residential quarter "arrive kreuzberg" on Berlin's Blücherstraße. Following the granting of the building permit, renovation work on the existing building is already underway. A total of 359 rental apartments and three commercial units will be created. This marks the third project that Primus is developing together with Greystar as part of their joint venture.

The housing offer provides a balanced mix of one- to three-room apartments, the majority featuring a balcony or terrace. Completion of the project is planned for the second quarter of 2028.

The quarter in Kreuzberg combines modern rental housing with an extensive range of community and recreational spaces. Plans include a roof terrace, an activity courtyard with a fitness and calisthenics area, playground areas, as well as an in-house gym and a co-working space for the resident community. The concept is further complemented by more than 385 bicycle parking spaces and a digital neighborhood app.

For the project, Primus is targeting the Efficiency House standards 40 QNG+ (new building) and 70 NH (existing building). A DGNB Gold certification is also planned.

In addition to the quarter in Kreuzberg, Primus is developing further projects as part of the "arrive" brand. The quarters in Berlin-Pankow and Berlin-Westend are already under construction. The projects in Hellersdorf and Prenzlauer Berg are currently in the planning phase.
