Primus secures financing of more than EUR 250 million since the beginning of the year

Primus Immobilien AG, a leading real estate developer with a focus on residential construction in Berlin, has secured financing of more than €250 million since the beginning of the year for a total of four development projects in the German capital.

“In a market environment that remains highly challenging, securing financing for development projects is by no means a given. It is therefore all the more encouraging that Primus projects continue to enjoy a high level of trust from banks and institutional partners,” says David Neuhoff, CFO of Primus.

The financing partners – HVB/UniCredit, Berliner Sparkasse, DZ HYP, as well as a major German insurance company – are supporting four high-quality developments with a total gross development value exceeding €400 million and a gross floor area of more than 70,000 square meters. Three of the projects are dedicated to the highly sought-after rental housing segment, while another comprises a hotel and serviced apartment concept that is already 100% pre-let. All projects are located in particularly prime Berlin submarkets: Prenzlauer Berg, Charlottenburg, and Kreuzberg.

The projects are now fully financed and are scheduled for completion in 2027 and 2028 as planned. The successful financings not only underscore the high quality and attractiveness of the developments, but also represent a strong vote of confidence by the lenders in Primus as a first-class partner in the Berlin real estate market.
