Berlin, April 16, 2025 – PRIMUS Immobilien AG, a leading real estate developer with a focus on residential construction in Berlin, has secured project financing exceeding 250 million euros since the beginning of the year for a total of four developments in the German capital.
“In the current tense market environment, obtaining financing for development projects is far from a given. All the more gratifying is the fact that our PRIMUS projects are met with great trust from banks and institutional partners,” says David Neuhoff, CFO of PRIMUS.
Financing partners – HVB/UniCredit, Berliner Sparkasse, DZ HYP, and a major German insurance company – are supporting four premium developments with a total gross development volume of over 400 million euros and more than 70,000 square meters of gross floor area. Three of the projects focus on much-needed rental housing; one is a hotel and serviced apartment concept, which is already 100% pre-leased. All projects are located in highly sought-after areas of Berlin: Prenzlauer Berg, Charlottenburg, and Kreuzberg.
The developments are now fully financed and scheduled for completion in 2027 and 2028. These successful financings are not only a testament to the quality and appeal of the projects, but also a clear vote of confidence in PRIMUS as a first-class partner in the Berlin real estate market.
